Gold Beech Construction is looking to hire a Project Manager experienced in high-end residential remodeling and new construction to complement our growing Team.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Leading, and managing Clients through an exceptional customer service experience when working on their projects.
  • Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality-control standards.
  • Preparing, and organizing detailed construction Cost Estimates, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Requests for Information.
  • Developing, and maintaining construction schedules in conjunction with the Site Superintendent to meet milestones and completion dates.
  • Providing clear direction to Team Members to ensure project targets are achieved.
  • Facilitating Project Meetings with multiple Stakeholders, anticipating Stakeholder needs, and proactively identifying solutions to support ongoing projects.
  • Leading Project Teams to identify and manage opportunities, and risks to achieve the best possible results for scope, quality, schedule, and financial targets.
  • Maintaining, tracking, and reporting financial aspects of projects including Subcontractor invoices, material orders, receipts, forecasts, and Client invoicing.
  • Managing the procurement process including Subcontractor, and Supplier negotiations and awards.
  • Supporting employees through coaching, professional development, meetings, and Goal Setting and Review Meetings.
  • Ensuring all employees and Subcontractors are communicating with Clients professionally and appropriately.
  • Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments, and corporate culture.
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • History of managing all phases of a construction process from initiation through completion.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in high-end residential construction.
  • Familiarity and experience using cloud-based CRM software, Google Workplace suite of apps, smartphones, Microsoft Office, and office technology.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Brings enthusiasm, positive energy, and a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates integrity, ethics, and professionalism, and values the importance of the customer service experience.
  • Can effectively problem-solve to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Has a driver’s license and reliable means of transportation to and from job sites throughout the Greater Boston/Metro West area.
  • Embraces continuous learning.
  • Always maintains personal and job site cleanliness and safety.
  • Has a Construction Management Degree and can submit to random drug tests and a background check.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders.

Gold Beech Construction is looking to hire a Lead Carpenter experienced in high-end residential remodeling and new construction to complement our growing Team. You are a craftsperson with lead carpentry experience in residential construction who is looking to develop and foster your career in high-end residential construction. Your enthusiasm for the trades, willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, active communication skills, and desire to advance your leadership career drives you toward a company that will encourage and facilitate your growth.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has 5+ years of lead carpentry experience in high-end residential construction including framing, and finish carpentry.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Brings enthusiasm, positive energy, and a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates integrity, ethics, and professionalism, and values the importance of the customer service experience.
  • Can effectively problem-solve to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Has a driver’s license and reliable means of transportation to and from job sites throughout the Greater Boston/Metro West area.
  • Owns basic hand tools, power tools, and PPE utilized in carpentry/general construction
  • Is comfortable with utilizing (and learning) cloud-based communication and project management tools daily.
  • Demonstrates supervisory, leadership and management skills.
  • Embraces continuous learning.
  • Always maintains personal and job site cleanliness and safety.
  • Has a GED/high school diploma and can submit to random drug tests and a background check.
  • Able to lift 80+ lbs.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders, framing roofs etc.
  • Able to use email, Google products, Microsoft programs, and a smartphone.
